Don’t Ignore Mental Health

Mental Health is a growing issue in and around the UK, as well as other countries. However, these issues often tend to get ignored. But we can’t ignore them anymore.

Did you know?

that 1 in 10 young people suffer with a diagnosable mental health disorder?
that between 1/12 and 1/15 deliberately self-harm? and that 25,000 are admitted to hospital for these injuries?
that nearly 80,000 young people suffer from severe depression?
that over 8000 children under the age of 8 suffer from severe depression?

If you didn’t know those terrible statistics, then you do now. And now than you know, you can’t ignore the tragic truth that too many young people are suffering from mental disorders today. Most of these people feel alone, and trapped and that there is no way out. I know this because I am one of those statistics.

Please. We need to help. We can’t ignore this anymore. There are too many suicide cases, too many self harm cases to just ignore the statistics now.
